The blade is made of 1095 Cro-Van steel, a very simple-to-sharpen carbon steel that assists in keeping its edge well. The Swiss-made Grivory deal with, meanwhile, is constructed of a glass-fiber-filled nylon for added strength. Other features include a flat grind, a Ka-Bar Becker stamp, and a 20-degree edge angle.
